Zero Waste "Kit"

I know it's a bit counter intuitive, but any suggestions as to what to include in a ZW kit for a family friend who argues they "can't afford it", "don't have time", etc.? With holidays approaching I was thinking about a "gift bucket" which would include the basic tools. Ideas?

Re: Zero Waste "Kit"

If they say they can't afford it, then it should be something that requires investment up front, but pays off as they use it.

For men who currently use disposable razors: a safety razor, package of blades, shaving soap, and brush , or just an electric razor?

A nice set of cloth napkins?

Obviously a large grocery tote with reusable produce and bulk bags would be good... And maybe a gift certificate to your favorite bulk store or a local food co-op?

Compostable tooth brushes, handkerchiefs, and bar soap without wrappers as stocking stuffers?

Just about anyone could use a Kleen kanteen.

However, if they are making excuses, maybe they just aren't into it, and all the stuff you give them will just go to waste.

Good ideas, Trish! Also, good point about not being in to it... Hmmm.
