1. While ordering the food from takeouts or fast foods, some extras also gets added up to them. Throw away those items, such as the McChicken Sauce packets etc.
2. An overflowing fridge is not a good sign. Go through the fridge and throw out or compost, I prefer compost mostly anything that is no longer fresh.
3. Having a drawer that is designed for utensils such as knives can help with keeping them out of reach from little children and our furry friends.
4. Try using hooks and tension rods on walls to mount pots and pans rather than cramming them into cabinets and free up some space in them to store other items.
